Research opportunity: upper limb amputation
Researchers at La Trobe University and Epworth Rehabilitation are seeking volunteer research participants to be involved in a study about exploring the barriers and facilitators to community participation for people following traumatic upper limb amputation.

Would the research study be a good fit for me?

The study might be a good fit for you if:

  • you are over 18 years of age,
  • you have sustained an upper limb amputation due to trauma,
  • your amputation occurred more than 18 months ago.

What would happen if I took part in the research study?

If you decide to take part in the research study, you will be asked to participate in one interview via phone or videoconference, approximately 1 hour in duration.

Will I be paid to take part in the research study?

There are no costs associated with participation in this research study, nor will you be paid to participate.
