The Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia (TGA) has developed a factsheet on reporting medical device problems. A problem, or adverse event, with therapeutic goods including medications, can include side effects, reactions and other problems. As consumers of medicines and medical devices, it's important to know what to do if we experience an adverse event, how to report it and how the TGA will use the information provided in our report.
